Buying & advice
Do you only sell high-end HiFi equipment?
No. While we stock and demonstrate premium systems, we also carry entry-level and mid-range equipment so there’s something for every budget — plus a selection of carefully tested second-hand items. Whatever your starting point, you’re very welcome here.
Which brands do you stock?
We’re proud to work with Arcam, AudioQuest, Blok, JBL, Monitor Audio, Musical Fidelity, Ortofon, Pro-Ject, REL, Roksan, Technics and WiiM. You can explore them all on our brands page, and hear most of them in the showroom.
Can I order a product that isn’t on display?
Yes. We can special order products from the brands we carry, even if they aren’t currently in the showroom. Special orders are typically non-refundable, but we’re always happy to discuss your needs case by case.
Do you sell second-hand HiFi?
Yes — we offer a selection of carefully tested, pre-owned equipment. As stock changes regularly, we recommend calling us to discuss what’s currently available. Every pre-owned item is tested in-house by our engineer.
Do you take trade-ins?
We do. Bring your current system to the Shrewsbury showroom or give us a call, and we’ll assess its value towards your new purchase. It’s a straightforward way to keep an upgrade affordable.
Do you offer finance?
We don’t currently offer in-house finance. Many customers find a 0% credit card a cost-effective way to spread payments, which also lets us offer our best possible price. We keep our finance options under review.
Can I get support after I’ve bought a system?
Absolutely. Ongoing support is a big part of what we do — we’re always here to answer questions and make sure you keep getting the best from your equipment.
Demonstrations
Can I book an in-store demonstration?
Yes, and it’s one of the parts of the job we enjoy most. We start with a short discovery chat to understand your preferences, room and budget, then set up a tailored demonstration in our Shrewsbury showroom.
Can I bring my own music?
Please do. Familiar music — vinyl, CD or a playlist on your phone — is the best way to judge how a system sounds to your ears.
Do you offer home demonstrations?
Yes, across Shropshire, so you can hear a system in the room it will actually live in. Home demos are arranged at our discretion and may require a refundable deposit against the equipment value, plus a small non-refundable fee where set-up is involved. We’ll explain everything when you book.
Installation & repairs
Do you install HiFi systems?
Yes — we offer professional installation across Shropshire, handling positioning, cabling, calibration and set-up. Installation is often included with higher-end systems, while a small fee may apply for lower-priced items.
Do you repair HiFi equipment?
We do — we’re one of the few specialists in Shropshire with an in-house repair workshop, covering vintage and modern equipment. We charge a £65 inspection fee (deducted from the repair if you proceed); repairs up to £100 are completed automatically, and anything higher is agreed with you first.

Where is your showroom?
You’ll find us at 2 Henry Close, Battlefield Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury, SY1 3TJ, with parking close by. See our contact page for directions and a map.
What are your opening hours?
We’re open Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, and Saturday, 9:00am–12:00pm. We’re closed on Sundays. It’s always worth calling ahead if you’d like a dedicated listening session.
